Games & Sports
This year Kho – Kho (Boys) were participated at the cluster level competition held at K.V Andal and four students were selected for Regional level competition. The students are: Akash Sonkar (X), Chanchal Dey (X), Golam Kader (X) and Raju Shaw (IX).
Our Volleyball team for both boys & girls will be participated in the Regional level competition to be held at K.V. Ballygunge and K.V No.1 Salt Lake respectively from 16.09.2007 to 18.09.2007.
Scout, Guides & N.C.C
Moral values are inculcated in students through interesting activities. Qualified teachers conduct the Scouts and Guides programmes to fulfill the motto-Be prepared.
Scout, Guides unit exist. Due to frequent transfers of teachers and lack of trained personnel no guide Captain or Folk leader is working in Vidyalaya. However there is one Scout Master (no Cub Master) in our Vidyalaya. This movement needs momentum.
No N.C.C unit exists.
Co-Curricular Activities: To develop leadership qualities and instill confidence in students, Debates, Extempore, Speeches, One-Act Plays, Essay Competitions etc. are organized. Co-curricular activities are organized as regular and curricular feature. Our students participate at state level and National level in Games / Sports, Cultural competitions, Science and Social Science exhibitions and quiz competitions also. Our school has earned a good name recently in the quiz competition / Science exhibition organized by the District Authority of Burdwan . Maximum participation is encouraged. Talent in all spheres is fostered.

Study Tour Places
Belurmath is famous for Ramkrishna Mission and for Swami Vivekananda. Daksineswar is famous for Kali temple where Ramkrishna Paramhansa achived priesthood and spent his entire life.
Shantiniketan is famous for VISHWA BHARATI UNIVERSITY, the dream institution of Nobel Lourate Girudev Rabindranath Tagore. It is also the birth place of Amartya Sen.
Burdwan is famous for Sher-e- Afgan’s Samadhi and 108 Shib Mandir.
ALUMNI
The 1st batch of Class – XII passed out in the year 2003 and no distinguished alumni has come to limelight so far. Hence no contact could be established with any important alumni.
