(a) Bibhas Mitra of class IX was selected to represent KV in Japan in connection with cultural exchange programme.
(b) Medical Checkups for Students started on 02.02.2011 by the group of Drs. From BWN Medical College.
(c) CBSE introduced Chinese Language for class VI for academic session 2011-12.
(d) Riteja Ghosh of class I B won Ist Prize for poem recitation at Burdwan Utsav -2011 org. by Burdwan Utsav Committee.
(e) Akash Saha, class VI – certificate of honour for English Computer Type from Graphics Computer Centre, Burdwan.
(f) Subhojit Das Rajak of class V - 3rd in 100 mtr run and IInd in long jump - organised by BWN district Sports Association
(g) AISSCE-10 04 students achieved 90 above in Computer Science, Master Suman Bandopadhyay secured98 out of 100 in CS.
(h) Ms. Aindrilla Dutta, class IX participated in "Sare Ga Ma Pa" Little Champ contest of Music in Zee Bangla.
(i) On 4th Feb., lectures were delivered on dengue by two eminent doctors, Dr. P. R. Mukherjee and Dr. A. B. Patra.
(j) On 10th Feb, Principal attended a TOLIC (Town Official Language Implementation) meeting at SBI, Regional Office Burdwan.
